Vernon Flame-Cutting Machine

Vernon's roller bed & conveyor design offers simple operation and efficient material handling. Pipe is fully supported and rotated on a bed of turning rolls. Set-up consists of merely raising or lowering the oxy-fuel or plasma cutting torch and lighting the torch. Powered pipe conveyors ensure optimum speed, maximum safety, machine longevity, and reduced labor hours. A single operator manages all loading and cutting operations from the control console.

Abrasive wheels cut and bevel all diameters and materials of pipe with extraordinary speed and quality. Materials can range from carbon steel, stainless, alloy, ductile iron, ceramic, plastic and cement-lined pipe. Finished cuts offer an uncontaminated, machine-like surface with speeds rivaling plasma cutting.

Vernon MASTERTUBE machines employ a simple pipe chuck with outboard idler support to rotate and cut small diameter round and rectangular tubing. A dedicated computer control rotates and advances pipe under the plasma torch to cut and bevel end profiles and hole shapes. Field proven mechanical design and simple Windows-based software ensure a refreshing approach to repetitious, time-consuming operations.

As a secondary measure Greenwood valves provide isolation until primary emergency valves are reset and system safety is restored. Quick-closing valves use reverse check valve design to stop the flow of fluid or vapor in the event of fire, explosion, or electrical service interruption.

Bolted line blinds are an economical solution to positive flow and positive shutoff of fluids or vapors in petrochemical, cement, bulk loading and storage, gathering systems, and marine facilities.

Line Blind Union

Line blind unions offer a simple and time-saving means of obtaining positive leak-proof shutoff in compressed air and fuel lines, manifolds, storage lines, and steam systems.
